I was getting the message on the options page "Please chmod wp-content/themes/flexis/modules/cache folder to 777 for the auto creation of thumbnails."
I went to my FTP and changed the settings to 777 and I'm still getting the message and the thumbnails are still not showing. I then deleted the theme, did a clean reinstall and changed the settings again to 777. No Luck.

I'm using Cpanel Host Gator Hosting and running Wordpress 2.9.

I have a few pages on my site that I don't want people leaving comments on. Is there a way to remove the big box where it says "Leave A Reply". Simply turning the "comments" off in the admin area doesn't appear to do it.

Sorry, for the delay in reply. You have the option to remove the header search bar from the theme control panel. :)
