I noticed embedded YouTube videos only show up after you click the 'Keep Reading' link. Can this be changed so that embedded videos are viewable when people first navigate to my homepage?
Also, simple formatting like "... and ..." doesn't show up on the homepage either. Why is this? Can someone help me change these settings?

The embedded videos are only supposed to be shown on the videos category specified in the theme options page. Have you edited the code in order to achieve the above said output?

Replace line 64 of index.php(wp-content/themes/spotlight/index.php) with:
